Jason Savino:

All right. Good morning, everyone. I'm Jason Savino, the Marketing Director for the All American Auto Group. And this is the All American Auto Mall in Old Bridge Updates podcast. The All American Auto Mall in Old Bridge is, or consists of Ford Subaru, Jerr-Dan Isuzu box trucks, and blue advantage certified used vehicles. This is episode number 66. I have some updates from the past week and want to talk about some social media posts we've done about those updates. So let's get into it. Last week was a short week because of Thanksgiving. And my episode 65 focused on feel better bears a fantastic charity event that we're involved with. Where donated stuffed animals get provided to first responders they go in the first responders squad cars and are there the first responders are trained to give them to children at the scene of an emergency for instant comfort. So I talked about that on the entire last episode go into detail why I love it so much all that stuff. So all the details about the dates. It's from now until right about Christmas it ends we stopped collecting and then the radio station that we partnered with for it NJ1015. They collect them all at their headquarters and then distribute them to the New Jersey State PBA sometime in January. So that's when we'll get the final count as well as to how many bears we have collected. So go back and listen to that if you're interested about that event. Some of the updates from last week. And I'm showing this on I'm sharing my screen on the computer with this for anybody watching the video so you can follow along pictures and stuff. But all of this stuff can be found on our social media pages. On the Ford side, we had a customer send in pictures of his full size Bronco on the beach. Absolutely gorgeous pictures he took really nice guy, great loyal customer of ours. So very thankful when we get pictures like this. They came out awesome. These pictures could be in a Ford Motor Company commercial. So we thank that customer he wants to remain anonymous. And those pictures are on our Instagram page. And Facebook. The next thing that we posted I love this picture. It's one of our sales managers here, Nicole, she's been with us forever. She ordered a Bronco in the very beginning. So you're talking almost two years now maybe maybe a year and a half to two years. And the Bronco she ordered finally came age who's extremely stoked about it. So we took a nice picture of her in the Broncos on our all American afford social media pages. So congrats to Nicole and finally getting her Bronco like many customers, we even our staff has to wait patiently for them. So that was great to say something else that happened last week that was great in terms of a charity. So every year for Thanksgiving, we partner with the SRB Help Center down in Freehold and some local community advocates, I guess you'd call them. One of them is Linda, she's fantastic, very loyal customer of ours and does so much for the community. So shout out to Linda for helping coordinate this but every year the Savino family ownership here gets involved and donates a lot of food for Thanksgiving. So we find families in need around us through the SRB Help Center and through Linda and we provide Thanksgiving meals for those families so we posted about a we send out our all American shuttle to deliver these baskets of food basically for Thanksgiving so we love doing that every year. Hopefully those families had a really nice Thanksgiving and were able to enjoy the food. The next thing that I want to talk about that was cool that happens. Travis ze Jack have the New Jersey Devils in New York Islanders so probably a New Jersey Devils legend you could call him very popular here in New Jersey of course me and my family are Islander fans. So you know because we came from Long Island so ze Jack has been a good friend of my brother Chris's for since we got here to New Jersey. He's done signings here at the dealership, so he's partnered with our dealerships before the various locations, and he had ordered a bronco. He was very, very excited about it. So again, he was one of the first people who place an order for the Bronco and It came in finally, and he absolutely loves it. He was very stoked to get it took a nice picture outside of our dealership with it. He's just a really nice guy again, I'm an islanders fan. I don't hate the devils by any means, but obviously they're one of the rivals of the islanders. I'm big hockey fans, obviously, I've always known have tried to say Jack, he's a great player. And I got to meet him for the one of the first times he came in a couple weeks ago, to check out some of the Broncos that we had knowing that his was coming in in the next couple of weeks. And then last week, obviously, he came in and picked up his Bronco that finally came in, so I got to meet him. And he's just a really nice guy. You know, very humble. Very, very nice and talkative. And you know, we were talking hockey, we're talking about the islanders because he knows we're Islander fans, obviously. So that was a cool experience for me. So, congrats to Travis on the new Bronco that finally came in. He loves it so far, he texted my brother Chris about it. So that was great. And then we I commend our staff this year, because they went above and beyond with decorating for the holidays, so and it's led by our new tire snowman. So they're really cool. They're on all of our social media pages. We did it for Ford, and Subaru here and commercial trucks, obviously. So they're throughout our building here in our service departments outside, outside of the front of both buildings. So we actually got the idea from my brother Chris, the general manager here he saw them out and about when he was looking for Christmas decorations with his children. And they noticed them he took a picture of it send to write to Me and Nick, Nick's our middle brother in he's the fixed ops director. So he's in service. And so Chris texted us right away when he got a picture of these tire snowmen wherever he found them and was like, we have to do these. So right away, you know, we were able to bring them to life. And I think they came out great. So shout out to body shop, Pat who did these he did the painting and our paint booth. And then the service team. And Sarah did an amazing job decorating these and again, really bring them to life. They have gotten really, really positive feedback, which is great. That's why we did it. That's what we'd love to see. You know, kids who walk in our front door and see them always stop and talk about point that you could see him you know, from outside the window. Everybody loves these things so far. So very happy with those so far. Definitely something I think we'll continue each year, because it's been a big hit. So that's really the updates I had. Again, last week was a short week because of Thanksgiving. I was actually off on Friday and Saturday. So really short week for me this week, you know we've had some inventory rolling and it was also obviously the end of the month and then start of December. So that's always the craziest time for dealerships. Inventory wise to give me an update on that. Ford is definitely kicking out which is great. Some of the SUVs you know the Explorer escape, F 150s are definitely starting to roll in they kept the programs in December which is great the popularity or 0% for 72 months for the F 150. So inventory on the Ford side is getting better still again, as I keep talking about nowhere close to where it was pre COVID We are far away away from that but it's coming around there are vehicles available. And of course we're doing custom orders which have become extremely popular. So definitely a lot of options on the Super side. You know, inventory is definitely a little tougher, there's no hiding that and why not be transparent. You know, I'm not going to sit here and say that we have a ton of vehicles come look at them. It's it's light and it is what it is but all Subaru dealerships around the country have gone through it and most manufacturers are still going through it if not all of them. Again nowhere close to pre COVID levels. With Subaru we do have a good amount of relatively speaking to where we've been of a sense and cross tracks. So cross tracks have been one that we haven't really had up there so that's good to see. So two nice SUVs there the scent of the cross track. Again though with Subaru. We've been taking a ton of custom order so you can custom order a Subaru to get exactly what you want. So that's an option and then CPO wise we have one of the largest certified pre owned inventories in the state of New Jersey between our Ford store here and our Subaru store. So we have a lot of Ford Certified Used Cars and a lot of super certified used vehicles so still a lot of options if you're out there you need vehicle your shop special going into the house holiday season. We do have options available in terms of in stock units and ordering. Last thing I want to talk about quickly is just looking ahead to this weekend. So on Saturday or I'm sorry on Sunday, December 5. It's another jar of Hope events that we are sponsoring and supporting. I actually think I'll be at this one. It is a 5k Fun Run crispy Pringles. So Jim or phone promised me doughnuts. That's why I'm going. I'm certainly not running in this. I do not run in five K's unfortunately. So I think I'm going to be there. I'll be walking it. Hopefully eating a lot of donuts and should be a fun event should be a nice community family event. It's at Thompson Park in lincroft, New Jersey. I've actually never been there. So should be exciting. There is a website to go to to register at sharp.org/crispy. So you can register there 25 bucks a person for 18 years and older. So a nice fun run slash walk for a good cause support a jar poke. So check that out. That's this Sunday, December 5, and I'll be back next week.
