Those include: 2022 Ford Ranger with the Splash™ Package, a new color for the 2022 Ford Bronco named Eruption Green Metallic and the new Ice White Edition Appearance Package for the 2022 Mustang family. All American Ford in Old Bridge also has an exciting announcement that they are now authorized dealerships for specialty F-150s: SCA Black Widow and Rocky Ridge . Lastly, Jason discusses other updates and upcoming events.
Hey everyone, I'm Jason Savino, the Marketing Director for the All American Auto Group. And this is the All American Auto Mall in Old Bridge Updates podcast, this is episode number 53. It's gonna be a quick one this week, because there's a lot going on. I'll get to some of the events coming up and have some cool announcements to make this week. I apologize in advance. I seem to have lost my voice a little bit, but so I apologize. But um, let's get started. So Episode 52. Last week, I announced that we have a partnership with Xavier McKinney, who is the safety for the New York Giants. He was a draft pick in 2020, an early second round pick, supposed to be a great player this year breakout season. So that's exciting. So I talked about that last week on episode 52. He is coming here this Saturday for an autograph signing event which is going to be great. So he'll be here this Saturday, September 4, starting at noon, he is going to be signing autographs, they'll take pictures, you know with fans and kids. So it's gonna be a lot of fun. So that's this Saturday, September 4. So let's get on to Episode 53, like I said, should be pretty quick one, I've got some updates, I want to talk about some for news. And then an exciting announcement that we have in terms of some new offerings here at all American Ford in Old Bridge. So first is looking at Ford, their their media team has set out some pretty cool announcements of a lot of throwback stuff that's starting to come back Ford seems to be doing this more and more. Or maybe I'm just noticing it more and more. I don't know, it'd be interesting to hear other people's opinion. But I feel like recently they're trying to reach back to their heritage a little bit more than they usually do. Maybe because it's more kind of obscure stuff, in my opinion, where a lot of it is not stuff that I even remember, probably is not that well known. So the first one I want to talk about is the Ranger splash, which I had no idea what this was when I read the article. But I guess it's basically that, you know, it's a big thing with Ford Ranger fans and the Ford Ranger. I've talked about it before on this podcast have a cult following. You know, my early episodes, I talked about it coming back and how well it was doing the first year, it continues to do well, but I guess there was a very popular package called the splash package. And they're bringing that back for the 2022 model year for the Ford Ranger. It was back in the 1990s. It was a package. Basically, it's being reimagined it's, and it's coming out with the splash package and the splash limited edition package. So on my screen now I'm showing for anybody who's going to watch the video of this. I've also posted this on our Facebook page, but you can see pictures of it. It's kind of these one time only colors that are advertising. This one on the screen is this yellowish color and it's orange, I think they kind of call it It kind of looks like the cyber orange which we have now. Maybe a little bit darker, and it's got a cool black graphic going down inside of it. That's kind of new for it. So anyways, this is the new Ranger splash package from the 1990s. I had no idea what it was making a comeback though. I'd be interested to hear anybody make comments on the social media posts for this podcast. If anybody has heard of it, if anybody remembers it, if anybody had the Ranger splash package. It'd be interested to hear that. The next one, Ford announced a great picture. This one looks really cool. For the 2022 Bronco, they're bringing back this color that was popular with the first generation Bronco, which it was called Mallard green in the early 1970s. And this new green color they're calling it a modern interpretation is called eruption green metallics. So that's pretty cool. Something that is going to be for the 2022 Bronco. And then another one is with the Mustang the family so the Maki and the regular gas coupe Mustang. They are bringing back a special edition appearance package. So it's a white on white appearance package that I again I had no idea that this was everything but I guess in 1993 there was a triple white Fox Body feature on the Mustang. It was one of the hot collectibles for future generations. I guess somebody from Ford said that and I guess they're bringing it back with the machi ends the regular Mustang, it's going to be called the ice white edition appearance package. So it's going to be white on white. The pictures look pretty cool there on the Ford comm page, the media page for news. And then on our social media pages too, so check that out. That's pretty cool. And then the exciting announcement I had for this episode that I will definitely probably dedicate a whole episode to in the future when I have more information on it. But very exciting stuff, we are becoming an SC a performance, which is blackwidow, f 150s. And Rocky Ridge, which is Rocky Ridge, f 150, k two f 150s. We're going to be authorized dealers. So we're going to be an authorized Black Widow dealer, and then an authorized Rocky Ridge dealer. So we have ordered to each of the F 150. So the F 150 of the Black Widow looks great. I'm showing it on the screen now. We'll have information on our site soon I'm going to post on social media soon when I get a little bit more information on the two that we ordered. But it's basically not fit brand performance brand. You know, we're already really big into Shelby and Roush. So this is just kind of expanding on our suite of offerings when it comes to lifted performance, and specialty and custom trucks. So again, we're getting two of the f150, black widows, and then two of the Rocky Ridge f150 k twos, that's what they're called. That's I guess, the trim level the package level. Both of the trucks look great. They're both owned by Fox company. So Fox, a lot of people know them for their, their suspension kit, and the fox 2.0 shocks. So the fox company owns Rocky Ridge and blackwidow blackwidow, I guess is just the brand, but it's owned by SCA performance. So very confusing, lots of different brands in there. But some customers might recognize some of them. I do see some blackwidow trucks out there, it's not just Ford's they make the blackwidow package for other trucks. So I have seen some black widow trucks before Rocky Ridge is really popular at other parts of the country as well. And I see their trucks a lot at some of the trade shows that I go to, you know, like nada or anything with the manufacturer. So again, just two different types of performance of fits that we're adding to our suite of offerings, which is right now Shelby Roush and then our customers that you know, we create our own with our in house customization Body Shop. So very exciting stuff. I'll talk about it fully in a separate episode coming up. But we should start to see some of these vehicles come in over the next couple of months, probably closer to the end of October and November, maybe we are going to post them on our website shortly. So look out for that. And customers will be able to reserve our incoming units. Obviously don't take a deposit of some sort to secure that incoming unit, but they will be available for sale. So exciting stuff. I'm excited. You know, to add that to our dealerships is the first time I'm personally getting involved with these two outfits. I believe our auto group did sell Black Widows before or maybe it was Rocky Ridge. But we're talking, you know, years and years ago, before I even started. So it's coming back to our auto group. And it's the first time I'm going to be dealing with these outfits. So more to come on that. Just to wrap up the episode just talking about some of our upcoming events. So right now, I'm recording this on Wednesday, September 1, we'll probably be able to post it because it's towards the end of the day. Now. We're gonna probably post this on Thursday, September 2, which is tomorrow, and it's the Rutgers University home opening college football games. So since we're a proud partner of Rutgers athletics, my marketing team is actually going to be there at the tailgate party. It's gonna be a lot of fun. They bring two really nice vehicles on display, they're going to have a lot of really good giveaways. So if anybody knows anybody going to Rutgers game tomorrow night, which is Thursday, September 2, definitely tell them check out our all American Ford booth. It's going to be a lot of fun. They're gonna have a lot of cool stuff. So that's exciting. Then the next cool thing is obviously the Xavier McKinney autograph signing on Saturday this week. So I already mentioned that at the beginning. Then we jump to a couple weeks from now, September 16, we have our barbecue tailgate party for the f150 mafia, which is going to be a lot of fun for that Thursday Night Football game, the Giants against the Washington football team. So I'll talk more about that as we get closer. And then looking forward to October. We have two main events in October so far, the all American Subaru pet adoption event on Saturday, October 9, and then our Jimmy Allen concert for hope on Sunday, October 17. So again, as we get closer, I'll keep mentioning them. But I'll go more into detail as we get closer and provide any updates. So that's the episode Hope you enjoyed it, and I'll be back next week.
